Derbies don’t get much bigger than the fiery Scottish clash that is Rangers vs Celtic.
Otherwise known as the Old Firm Derby, this match has been played since the 1890s with the two Glasgow clubs never failing to deliver fireworks on and off the pitch.
While Celtic and Rangers do have geography in common, they have been polar opposites in nearly every other regard creating a rivalry renowned around the world.

When is next Rangers vs Celtic game?
The next Old Firm Derby isn’t too far away with a Scottish Premiership match looming on Monday, January 2.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 p.m. (GMT) at Ibrox Stadium with Rangers really needing to win to keep pace with Celtic at the top of the table.
After that match, the two are scheduled to play another Scottish Premiership game on April 8 which could well decide the league title.

At home and in just their third league game of the 2022/23 season, Celtic ran riot against a placid Rangers outfit as they settled the match before half-time with three goals. David Turnbull then put the icing on the cake with a late strike.
Rangers vs Celtic history
This age-old rivalry was born in the late 19th century and has been played regularly ever since.
Their first competitive match saw Celtic beat Rangers 6-1, but overall results since slightly favour the Gers.
The Hoops do, however, hold the record for the biggest win in this fixture when they thumped Rangers 7-1 in 1957 during a League Cup match.
